Grand Cascades Lodge is proud to announce its recent sweeping décor makeover, highlighted by its biophilic design. This innovative concept is used to increase guests’ connection with the environment through the use of natural materials and light, as well as the replication of elements found in nature. The Resort partnered with the globally acclaimed and Manhattan-based firm INC Architecture & Design, which also accomplished the exquisite update of the Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning Restaurant Latour.
The installation of refined yet comfortable furnishings, carpeting, paint, artwork and finishes in the guest rooms, plus enhanced bathrooms, have heightened the lodge’s overall aesthetic and will allow visitors to feel an emotional affinity to its outdoor elements. With a strong commitment to nature and sustainability as the largest solar-powered Resort in the Northeast and as a winner of the "Hoteliers' Choice Award for Environmental Good", Crystal Springs determined that the hotel’s ambiance should readily evoke its scenic, panoramic views of mountain vistas, forests and farmland.
Quality and craftsmanship, complemented by a balance of color and shape to emulate nature, are apparent throughout the refreshed property. Calming blues and stone shades combined with native contours provide a visually inspiring haven which will be embraced after extensive sheltering in place. Further, guests will welcome the familiar comfort of full kitchens, washer & dryers, plus private balconies with mountain views.
