Julie believes her motivation to be a gym member for nearly three decades comes from two places. First, she feels it’s important to be strong mentally and physically for her husband and three children, and also, she is passionate about helping others by being a wellness role model. She has been a Certified Personal Trainer for 17 years, and her interest in physical fitness started at a young age, and included a love for dance and pageantry. She was one of MSC’s original Mommy and Me instructors, and also taught Teen and Aquatics Fitness which she still does today. Julie has enthused that “the gym is a place to reset your mindset toward self-positivity while internally cleansing and strengthening your bodily systems. It is also a place to heal the mind, body, and spirit”. Other various professional therapeutic/fitness arenas she has worked in are Cardiac and Physical Rehabilitation, Traumatic Brain Injury, In/Out Patient Psychiatric Care, Specialized preventative exercise prescription for Senior Fitness and FallProof Balance and Mobility Training.
