Hike On the Appalachian Trail

Hike On the Appalachian Trail Stretching more than 2,190 miles across 14 different states, the Appalachian Trail is a marked hiking trail in the Eastern United States extending between Springer Mountain in Georgia and Mount Katahdin in Maine. Located approximately five miles from the Resort, this hike offers the option of an easy hike through Pochuck Valley or a strenuous hike up the Stairway to Heaven to the the scenic Pinwheel Vista.

At Minerals Hotel Come play the fastest growing sport in America. Pickleball is a cross between tennis & ping-pong, and is ideal for any age and athletic ability. Matches can be played by singles or doubles. Three courts are available for use by Minerals Sports Club members and hotel guests.

Natural Grass Putting Course

This one-of-a-kind, 18-hole natural grass putting course in front of Grand Cascades Lodge features multi-tiered greens and rolling terrain accentuated by rippling streams and colorful landscaping. Come out and test your skills! See the Front Desk for putters and balls. Open to Grand Cascades Lodge guests only. Putting course is open year round when weather permits.

Laser Clay Shooting

Suitable for first time and seasoned clay target shooters. Using a modified shotgun, participants fire an infrared beam at reflective clays. Real, deactivated guns are used with realistic sound effects that instruct the shooter when they have hit the target. This activity is hosted at Minerals Hotel. Reservations are required on select dates in the fall, winter and spring. Please see individual dates for more information.
