Vista 180 Pools
Grand Cascades Lodge guests have full access to the Vista 180 Pool Complex, which features an infinity pool with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains plus an adjacent freeform pool with a fun waterslide, unique current vortex pool and a therapy-jet spa cove.
Pickleball Courts
Come play the fastest growing sport in America - now available at Minerals Hotel and open to guests of both hotels. Pickleball is a cross between tennis and ping-pong, and is ideal for any age and athletic ability. Paddle rentals are available but are not included.
Wild Turkey Nature Trail
Guests of both hotels are invited to take a calming walk on our three mile wooded Nature Trail adjacent to Grand Cascades Lodge. Capture exceptional shots of flora and fauna in this forested setting with scenic views. Sturdy walking shoes recommended.
Natural Grass Putting Course
Guests of Grand Cascades Lodge are invited enjoy a one-of-a-kind, 18-hole natural grass putting course, featuring multi-tiered greens and rolling terrain with rippling streams and colorful landscaping. Great for sharpening your putting game or just having fun with the kids.
Firepits
Both hotels offer cozy fire pits with stunning mountain views which can be enjoyed in all four seasons. Whether roasting marshmallows, listening to music or enjoying the stars, these outdoor seating enclaves are a guest favorite.
Rock Climbing Wall
Guests of both hotels are invited to try their mountaineering skills on the rock climbing wall at Minerals Hotel, which uses a catch-and-hold technology to give climbers the time they need to rest, recover, and finish their route.
Minerals Sports Club
Guests of both hotels have full access to dozens of weekly yoga and fitness classes as well as all facilities at Minerals Sports Club an expansive weight and cardio center, spin studio, running track, pickleball courts, rock climbing and basketball court.
Hot Tubs, Steam & Sauna
The pool complexes at both hotels feature hot tub, steam & sauna for you to relax and unwind year round. Minerals pool complex also features a cold plunge for those interested in cold water immersion therapy.
Biosphere Waterslide
Take a ride down the 140’ water slide in the tropical Biosphere at Grand Cascades Lodge. The slide provides a high energy ride through a tunnel ending with a speedy splash down into our heated pool. Available to GCL guest only.
Croquet Lawn
Enjoy a game of leisurely fun and friendly competition on the croquet lawn at the Crystal Springs Clubhouse. Croquet is a sport that involves hitting balls with a mallet through hoops embedded in a grass playing court. Open to guests of both hotels.

Party with us on the outdoor Activity Field at Grand Cascades Lodge. Enjoy an array of glow in the dark lawn games, DJ, marshmallow roasting and comic axe throwing. Cash bar with glowing drinks, glowing cotton candy and glow bling are available for purchase.
Games, traditional glow bracelets and marshmallow roasting are complimentary. Drinks, cotton candy and enhanced glow accessories are available for purchase. Hosted at Grand Cascades Lodge from 8:00pm - 10:00pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Archery
Join us at the archery range to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow or to show off your skills and perhaps partake in some friendly competition at hitting the bullseye. Instruction and equipment are included. Ages 10 and over. Parental supervision is required. Included with your stay at either Resort hotel.
Laser Clay Shooting
Suitable for first time and seasoned clay target shooters. Using a modified shotgun, participants fire an infrared beam at reflective clays. Real, deactivated guns are used with realistic sound effects that instruct the shooter when they have hit the target. This activity is hosted at Minerals Hotel.
Axe Throwing
Come try this modern sport, which involves throwing an axe at a wooden target, and attempting to hit as close to the bullseye as possible. Get your competitor hat on in this safe and fun environment. Session includes a trained guide who will show guests the responsible way to participate.
Hoverball Archery
All the fun of traditional archery, with a modern twist! Hoverball Archery is an innovative target game where balls hover in mid-air, challenging players to hit moving targets with soft, foam-tipped arrows.

Farm Animal Visit
Meet local farmer Keith and his friendly furry and feathered friends when he comes to visit the resort on select dates! Learn fun facts about baby goats, ducks, chickens, bunnies, sheep, miniature horses, alpaca and other Appalachian farm favorites.
Pony Rides
Children will enjoy the experience of our hand-led guided rides and friendly interaction with adorable and gentle ponies from a local farm. For the safety of the animals, please note that children up to 100 lbs can be accommodated for rides.
