Now Hiring Front of House Staff

The Northeast's # Culinary Resort is hiring Front of House staff {bartenders, servers, food runners, bussers and hosts/hostesses} to join our team. The Resort is home to an array of stylish restaurants, bistros, pubs and cafes, ranging from 4-star dining at the award-winning Restaurant Latour to the open air kitchen in our very own Chef's Garden.  We also provide world class catering for hundreds of weddings, corporate retreats and special events including the New Jersey Wine & Food Festival.

Crystal Springs is looking for experienced servers that will be responsible for exceptional Food & Beverage service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Greet and thank each quest in an enthusiastic, professional  & timely manner, provide our guests with the information necessary to make a dining or drinking choice by performing a menu tour, be knowledgeable about the techniques used to prepare our food and drink products, serve to our quests our food products following all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, fulfill accurate cash and credit transactions, stock and maintain adequate inventory in designated work station and maintain 100% compliance with all liquor and health department laws.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, willingness to work as a team, and have weekend and holiday availability. Previous food service and POS experience is a plus.

Food Runner

Food runners are an important part of a restaurant staff and serve as assistants to the wait staff. Food runners must be efficient, detail-oriented, be courteous, pay attention to cleanliness and have team player attitude. A positive attitude and a courteous demeanor with customers is a must, as well as making sure you are clean and presentable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Delivering, or "running" food to tables once a food order has been prepared by the cooks. cleaning tables, filling water glasses, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and customer areas and returning plates to the kitchen.

Candidates must have a moderate level of physical capability, be able to work well under pressure and have weekend/holiday availability.

Crystal Springs Resort is looking to hire bartenders to create a hospitality environment that meets and exceeds customers’ expectations while maintaining established high standards of food and beverage service. 

Responsibilites for this role include but are not limited to: Daily execution of a la cart beverage service, complete daily checklists, or bar and beverage service stations; record any discrepancies and report to food and beverage managers, communicate equipment, maintenance, and cleaning/sanitation issues with the food and beverage director, ensure the proper storage of all bar/beverage service equipment and supplies, promote a safe working environment in the facility, follow company procedures for accidents and injuries as outlined in the employee handbook, comply with company standards for sanitation and hygiene and arrive to work at the scheduled time.

Candidates must have prior experience, the ability to multi-task, lift at least fifty pounds, communivate effectively with fellow employees, managers and customers, and have weekday/weekend availability.

The host/hostess is responsible for greeting and seating guests and performing a variety of other tasks within a restaurant establishment, which may include ringing up orders, refilling beverages, setting tables, and cleaning eating/serving areas; performing all other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Two years of restaurant experience is preffered for this position. In addition, candidates must possess the ability to interact with guests and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner, stand for long periods of time, be 18 years of age or older and have weekend & holiday availability.
