Grand Cascades Lodge guests have full access to the Biosphere Pool Complex, which features a retractable glass roof, dozens or exotic tropical plants, 140' water slide, free form indoor & outdoor heated pools, hot tub, steam & sauna.

Biosphere Water Slide
Take a ride down the 140’ water slide in the tropical Biosphere at Grand Cascades Lodge. The slide provides a high energy ride through a tunnel ending with a speedy splash down into our heated pool. Available to GCL guest only.

The pool complexes at both hotels feature hot tub, steam & sauna for you to relax and unwind year round. Minerals pool complex also features a cold plunge for those interested in cold water immersion therapy.
Glice Rink
Made from an eco-friendly Swiss engineered material, the Glice rink at the Crystal Springs Clubhouse will be open daily starting November 29th. Skate rentals and Glice time are included with your stay at either Resort hotel.
Wild Turkey Nature Trail
Set out for a calming walk on our three mile wooded Nature Trail adjacent to Grand Cascades Lodge. Capture exceptional shots of flora and fauna in this forested setting with scenic views. Sturdy walking shoes recommended.
Rock Climbing Wall
Guests of both hotels are invited to try their mountaineering skills on the rock climbing wall at Minerals Hotel, which uses a catch-and-hold technology to give climbers the time they need to rest, recover, and finish their route.

Glice Skating
Glice is a Swiss engineered eco-friendly synthetic material that can be skated on, even when it is above freezing. Come glide around the rink and then warm up by the fire with a hot cocoa or festive adult beverage from the Jacques Torres Hot Cocoa Hut. Hosted at Grand Cascades Lodge. Skate time and skate rentals are included for guests of both hotels.
Archery
Join us at the archery range to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow or to show off your skills and perhaps partake in some friendly competition at hitting the bullseye. Instruction and equipment are included. Ages 10 and over. Parental supervision is required. Included with your stay at either Resort hotel.
Axe Throwing
Come try this modern sport, which involves throwing an axe at a wooden target, and attempting to hit as close to the bullseye as possible. Get your competitor hat on in this safe and fun environment. Session includes a trained guide who will show guests the responsible way to participate.
Laser Clay Shooting
Suitable for first time and seasoned clay target shooters. Using a modified shotgun, participants fire an infrared beam at reflective clays. Real, deactivated guns are used with realistic sound effects that instruct the shooter when they have hit the target. This activity is hosted at Minerals Hotel.
Rock Climbing Wall
Experience the thrill of rock climbing with a state-of-the-art climbing wall designed for both beginners and more advanced climbers. Featuring innovative catch-and-hold technology, guests can challenge themselves in a safe and exhilarating environment. Hosted at Minerals Hotel.
Hike the Wild Turkey Nature Trail
Guests of both of the Resort's hotels can enjoy nearby hiking trails including the legendary Appalachian Trail or the Resort's picturesque on-property Wild Turkey Nature Trail adjacent to Grand Cascades Lodge. The Wild Turkey trail is approximately three miles long with some challenging uphill sections. Appropriate footwear is recommended. Visit the Concierge at Grand Cascades Lodge or the Adventure Center Desk at Minerals Hotel for recommended local trails based on season and weather.
Guided Wine Cellar Tour
As one of the premier wine cellars in North America, this architectural marvel encompasses nine interconnected chambers which house one of the world’s best wine collections. Tour the Wine Spectator Grand award-winning Wine Cellar Wednesdays - Sundays beginning at 3:00pm. The tour will last 30-45 minutes. Please meet at the Crystal Tavern hostess stand in the lobby of the Crystal Springs Clubhouse. Available to guests of both hotels.
