Local Farm Tours

Agriculture and tourism are the two most important components of Sussex County’s economy. We call it Agritourism. In our beloved County, there are numerous farms that provide the region with vegetables, Christmas trees, flowers, honey, eggs, cheese, apples, pumpkins, local meat, wine and so much more. There are many different farms operating throughout the four seasons of the year. See the front desk for highlighted farms and addresses.

*Note: Farm Tours will differ each month as the seasons change. The front desk will have detailed information for the best farms to visit during a particular month.

When you imagine a real old-school NJ farmstand, this is it. Pick your own strawberries, raspberries, vegetables, corn, bedding plants, u-cut flowers, pumpkins and Christmas trees

Pochuck Valley Farms.

Visit Pochuck Valley Farms in the fall for homemade cider from ground-up apple “pumice” straight off a wooden press. It takes a bushel of apples to make three and a half gallons. Each brew is a mix of varieties and ratios: Red Delicious for sweetness, Winesap for tang, McIntosh and Empire for body. Have a blast and visit the farm to pick your own apples, go on scenic wagon tours, and taste some homemade cider and baked goods
