Bio: Don Freiday
Don Freiday has worked in the field of nature interpretation and/or wildlife biology for over 25 years, for organizations including the US Fish and Wildlife Service, New Jersey Audubon, Cape May Observatory, Hunterdon County Parks, and the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife. Don's Wildlife Science degree is from Rutgers University, where several semesters he taught Wildlife Ecology and Environmental Education to undergraduates as a part-time lecturer. He has led birding and nature tours to many states across the US and several foreign countries. Don is an author and columnist on nature, with two books to his credit and has written for Wildbird, Bird Watching and other outdoor publications. Don's regular blogs on birds and birding can be viewed at http://freidaybird.blogspot.com/ , often accompanied by his photos. In his free time, Don enjoys birding, fishing, hunting; training his Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Daniel Boone; photography, kayaking and cooking.
