Things To Do - Add-ons

Delight in a true escape at our pristine 100-acre Mountaintop Lake. Set out for a paddling adventure onto the tranquil waters with a kayak or canoe, or explore the natural surroundings with a peaceful hike.  Take aim with our archery range, and enjoy fishing with expert guidance from our instructor. Guests will enjoy lounging by the lake with a good book or in our new forest bathing retreat - perfect for relaxation and meditation. The lake may be reached via hiking or driving your own SUV on a marked trail. Shuttle service is not available. ($34 per adult; $19 per child. Saturdays 10am - 1pm or 2 - 5pm. Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am - 1pm.

Come enjoy this popular one-hour yoga class followed by 30-minute mix & mingle with the friendly goats. Connecting with nature and these social local farm animals is both calming and therapeutic...stress-relief is guaranteed. ($45 per person - must be 8 years of age or older. Saturdays 1pm and Sundays 9:30am)


Enjoy a scenic hike where lush mountain vistas await at every turn. Once you have worked up an appetite, come feast on a delicious picnic spread of cheese and charcuterie, pickled vegetables, dried fruits, breadsticks, baguettes and a sweet dessert treat. ($75 lunch fee  - Grand Cascades Lodge guests only)


Crystal Springs is the Northeastern U.S. Headquarters for the world-renowned David Leadbetter Golf Academy. We welcome players of all skill levels to work with our elite staff of certified instructors who have helped countless golfers improve their game, and more importantly, have more fun playing! Behold the beauty of nature through painting...and what better classroom than the spectacular grounds of Crystal Springs. Join our in-house artist for an introduction to Plein Air Painting, which means 'in the open air'. This outdoor class is designed for beginners, and provides a guided process of painting a scene or subject. ($50 per person). Fridays at 6 pm.


Soothe your overworked mind with a healing class of rock painting. Mandala, meaning circle or completion in Sanskrit, is formed by geometric patterns and beautiful colors - creating amazing artwork symbolizing the universe. You'll cherish your special keepsake decoration. ($30 per person). Saturdays at noon. 

Who said you can't go clubbin' with the kids? Minerals and Cascades Golf Courses are the perfect 9-hole courses for every family member. Advanced players are sure to be challenged, while juniors have their own tees ahead of mom and dad. Plus, our four-seater golf carts and oversized cups make it a stress-free day out for everyone. (Approximately $25 per person based on time of day, day of week)


Enjoy a private family golf clinic courtesy of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy and lead by our Resort Pro MaryBeth Kohberger - NJ PGA Section Junior Leader and U.S. Kids Top 50 Instructor. This hour-long clinic is ideal for all ages - mom and dad included, and is a great way to teach children discipline, patience and good manners. ($250 clinic fee)


Discover the pastimes of our tranquil fresh-water quarry. Take aim at the archery range with bows, arrows and instruction provided. Fishing fans will enjoy the unique 100 ft. deep waters stocked with trout, large-mouth bass, bluegill, chain pickerel, perch, rock bass and sunfish. Rods and bait provided. Our expert instructors will teach you how to identify the various fish species. Sunbathers are welcome to relax on the calm quarry beach. ($25 per person for archery or $15 per person for fishing) Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 


Experience the newest and most exciting crossover sport to hit the U.S. – FootGolf! Two sports rolled into one, FootGolf is played by kicking a soccer ball (on a golf course) into an oversized hole to score – with rules similar to golf. It takes just two hours to play 18 holes, and can be enjoyed by all ages. Available at Cascades or Minerals course. (Approximately $25 per person based on time of day, day of week)



Explore over 150 acres of trails and miles of woods on horseback, venturing through some of the most scenic areas in the region. Guided rides are offered for all levels of experience, fitting each friendly and gently horse to the ability of the rider. Giddy up and happy trails. Available at Legends Riding Stable, across from Minerals Hotel. By appointment only, book directly through the stable. Open Thursdays-Sundays and Tuesdays.  



Clove Spring at MNL Farm offers an unrivaled adventure in clay target shooting sports with experienced instruction. This premier trap, skeet, sporting clays course and five stand offers novices and experts alike a unique and safe experience at a world-class facility. Available at Clove Spring Range, 15 minutes from the Resort. By appointment only, book directly with the range. Open Thursdays thru Sundays. 



TreEscape Aerial Adventure Park features ten unique ropes courses that are sure to provide an exhilarating outdoors adventure for everyone. Located moments away at Mountain Creek. Open Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations required, book directly though the park's website. $45 per person at this time. Discounted rate for ages 4-6.
