Join us for a guided walk while practicing sensory awareness via scent, sight, sound and breath. This activity is designed to quiet the mind and deepen the connection with the inner self and the natural world, largely through sensory experience. The walk culminates in a 10 minute guided meditation with a focus on connecting with the earth and nature. Suitable for adults or families with mature children. Led by Resort Meditation specialist Bryan Paul.
What is Forest Bathing? Shinrin-Yoku is a term developed in Japan that directly translates to "Forest Bathing" and is the broad definition for taking in - through one's senses - the forest atmosphere. It is not just a walk in the woods, but instead the conscious and contemplative practice of being enveloped in nature, awakening to sensory exploration, and taking in the healing benefits of the forest atmosphere.
Admission is complimentary, however space is very limited. 'No shows' will incur a $25 fee per person.
Reservations required. Please call 844.330.1710. This activity will be canceled in the event that there is snow on the ground.
Hosted at 10:30am. Registered guests meet on the Fire and Water Terrace at Grand Cascades Lodge
