Swing into Autumn During “Golftoberfest” at Crystal Springs Resort

If the beautiful fall foliage and picturesque weather was not enough to make autumn the ideal golf season, Crystal Springs Resort has turned every day starting September 10 through October 17 into a “Golftoberfest” Celebration.

Golfers will enjoy traditional Bavarian delights such as, bratwurst, knockwurst, weisswurst, German pretzels and potato leek soup paired with German beer such as Spaten Oktoberfest at the Halfway Houses or the turn at Wild Turkey, Crystal Springs, Black Bear and Ballyowen.

Even the beverage cart attendants will be in the Oktoberfest spirit dressed in traditional Fraulein attire while serving beer, hot pretzels, and other snacks on the course.

As for the creation of “Golftoberfest”, VP of Hospitality, Robby Younes stated, "Our German Executive Chef, Michael Weisshaupt came up with the concept for Oktoberfest on the golf courses. He wanted our golfers to experience some of the culinary delights of a traditional German Oktoberfest while enjoying world class golf."
