HIKE & KAYAK AT MOUNTAIN CREEK
Catch the shuttle to Mountain Creek, where your scenic adventure will begin aboard the gondola. As it carries you to the peak of Hamburg Mountain, you’ll experience a bird’s-eye view of unique geological formations, including multi-colored farmlands, pastures, lakes and natural mountains of the Great Appalachian Valley. Once you reach the top, you’ll be guided through the extensive network of trails that wind throughout the Resort, offering a wide variety of terrain for all abilities. At the conclusion of your hike, you’ll receive a short lesson on the basics of paddling and water safety, after which you can embark on your kayak journey around Mountain Creek Lake. HIKE AND CANOE AT MINERALS
Let your imagination run wild as you explore scenic Hamburg Mountain.
Discover our Resort’s unique history, geology and archeology with a tour through the Native American woodlands as you are guided to the top of the mountain on a 2 mile/800 ft. elevation gain. The hike along this network of paths and cliffs around Mountaintop Lake offers an unbelievable sight seeing opportunity, filled with a variety of birds, mammals, fish, and
reptiles. At the conclusion of your hike, you’ll receive a short lesson on the basics of paddling and water safety, after which you will have free time to enjoy the lake and delight in the ancient art of canoeing. Meet at the Adventure Center in Minerals Lobby.
FAMILY BIKE AT PAULINSKILL
Hop aboard our Resort Adventure Bus for a scenic ride to the historic Paulinskill Rail Trail, once part of the New YorkSusquehanna and Western Railroad line, in nearby Lafayette, NJ. Coast through a diverse landscape that features rock outcroppings, farmlands, small towns, forests and wetlands. Bikes and helmets are included. Dress in layers. Backpack
suggested. Children must be at least 8 years old. Meet at the Adventure Center in the Minerals Lobby.
FISHING AT THE MOUNTAINTOP.
This introduction to freshwater fishing includes a basic how-to of the sport, plus the basics on various fish bait, lure fishing and casting techniques. Our instructor will patiently walk you through everything from
casting, to fly selection, and presentation to ensure you have the knowledge needed to become an independent angler. Meet at the Adventure Center in Minerals Lobby.
ARCHERY AT THE MOUNTAINTOP.
Let your adventurous side take over as you release your first arrow at the top of Hamburg Mountain. Our skilled guide will teach you how to safely mount and draw re-curve bows to release a set of arrows at a traditional short-distanced target. Afterwards, cool off with a dip in the lake, canoe ride, or enjoy a round of beach volleyball. Meet at the Adventure Center in Minerals Lobby.

FISHING AT THE QUARRY.
Discover the beauty of the sparkling fresh-water quarry located right in the heart of Crystal Springs Resort. Stocked for fun to accommodate our “catch & release” activity, it’s a perfect way to relax and brush up on those baiting skills. Rods, bait and instruction provided.
NIGHT TIME NATURE CRITTER
Shed light on the dark and exciting world that emerges when the sun
goes down. Join April Oleksy, a knowledgeable area resident, on this nighttime nature critter crawl along the protected Quarry Road wetlands, a fun way to discover the creatures of the night. Be prepared for the appearance of owls, bats and other elusive nocturnal critters. Bring
a jacket, sturdy shoes, and of course, a flashlight. Meet at the Adventure Center in Minerals Lobby.

TRAVELING ZOO SHOW. This zoo
brings an amazing, comical and educational presentation where animals, education and fun collide!

Located adjacent to the fresh-water quarry at Crystal Springs, our newly built archery range showcases the finest in guided archery. A unique rustic log construction sets this facility apart for fun and entertainment, and makes it an ideal place to take pictures and capture memories of
