Hike/Canoe Join us for a semi strenuous beautiful hike to the top of the mountain. Get into the canoes for a beautiful paddle around the lake. Hike down in time for lunch!! Time/Location: 9:30am-12:00pm / Meet in Minerals Lobby 3 Lakes Hike from the Top of the Gondola Take the gondola to the top of the mountain and hike 3 miles. See 3 beautiful lakes. Bring water and camera and sturdy shoes. Sign up with Member Services. 973-827-2222 ext 3. Time/Location: 9:30am-11:30am / Meet in Minerals Lobby at for Van Ride Jump Zone Fun The Jump Zone will be here with their high flying trampoline for the family! Time/Location: 9:30am-12:00pm / Meet in Minerals Lobby “Good Morning” Family Stroll on the Appalachian Trail At the Appalachian Trail, we will hope to see lots of various birds, different kinds of warblers, thrushs, veery, vireos, turkey vultures, red tailed hawks, coopers hawk, ravens, black birds, wild turkeys, belted king fisher, red winged black birds, tree swifts, swallows, cardinals, robins, blue jays, blue birds, wrens, finches, chickadees, orioles, nuthatchs, juncos, various kinds butterflies, dragon flies, downy & pileated wood peckers Also in streams on a clear day, catfish, sunfish, bass, trout, crayfish, turtles, tree, bull & green frogs, beaver, muskrats, sometimes deer in the fields, spider webs with spiders, spittle bugs incased in there white foamy homes, Underneath brush and fallen trees, snakes, salamanders, Scurrying along the weeds, mice, chipmunks, rabbits, squirrels, groundhogs.
